Has anyone heard anything from/about financial aid?

Does anyone know when the spring semester starts? Orientation? For anyone who's recieved financial aid at NYU: when should I expect to get the money to pay for my living expenses if I were to get some?

BellaNoor, I was very close to choosing Miami coz the beaches and the town were really enticing.. plus its half the cost of NYU.. but like you, I've been fantasizing about NYU for some time now and as a West Coast native, I'm really excited about NY. I'm choosing NYU. MissTessSF, I'm from Daly City... I'm thinking ill be applying for the residence halls since I don't have the time to visit NY and hunt for apartments... Any luck on your search?

I just found out I got in :) I got into my second choice, University of Miami, last week and they want an answer by tomorrow. I emailed NYU earlier this week, telling them about my situation and my they told me they have made a decision and will send me an email on Thursday, today. Good luck everyone! btw, anyone here from the SF bay area?
