Anyone applying to the University of Miami ABSN program for next summer 2012?

I haven't received a letter yet but I just checked My UM online and it was updated that I've been accepted for the May 2012 start! It says the acceptance packet is in the mail. Exciting!

I was accepted today as well. Check MyUM! I originally applied for the January '12 cohort but got bumped to May because I still had a few prereqs in progress when I applied over the summer. Well worth the wait though!

Congratulations Jlanders and lzkblr! Was wondering how your GPA was. Reason i'm asking is because i'm a bit worried because my GPA isn't that high.

Congrats Jlanders and lzkblr! I was wondering when you sent in your application? I sent my literally the day before the deadline. I still havent heard back and my UM account doesnt say anything....anxiously waiting:uhoh3:

Jessram - I applied in September. They probably notify people in the order that they applied, so just be patient! Good luck!

Is anyone else applying for the nursing scholarship (the 3 year work exchange)? I'm considering it, but I wish there was more information about it on the SONHS website.

I haven't heard yet (online or in the mail) whether I got accepted, but honestly I got in my extra materials very late so I don't know if they will even consider me for this cohort. Congrats to everyone who got in tho!

does anybody can give an opinion about the accelerated nursing program at UM? how big are the classes? are most of the classes on-line or in a classroom? looking for positive or negative feedback in general.. bring it!!! i have been accepted to the program but i also have another option.. Quinnipiac University in Connecticut..

Anyone else heard or know what the deal is? I applied right before the deadline, was notified that I hadn't told them about when I would be finishing one class, but now I can't get a hold of them to let them know when I am taking it!

Will this greatly slow down my application? Did anyone else run into this?
