alibaba3 said:2 semesters into UVic. Unfortunately they've been kind of all over the map with when synchronous classes happen. Both our semesters have had: 1) NP courses on Thursday mornings from 9-12. 2) MN core courses in evenings, variable days. Term 1 it was Thursday evenings from 5-8. They're still trying to improve letting us know sooner when synchronous stuff is happening but it's a work in progress.
Thanks so much for all this information, @alibaba3! I really appreciate it. It's so helpful to hear from current students 🙂

Hi everyone! For those of you on the UVic waitlist, I have accepted TRU and declined my UVic offer... so one extra UVic spot will become available soon. 🙂
For those of you who weren't successful this round, I hope you keep applying for future intakes. To give hope to other applicants without high grades: my undergrad grades were not strong (81% in my last two years of nursing school), but I've been a nurse for 15 years with a lot of varied experiences and additional certifications. Please feel free to PM me if you want any advice.
I hope everyone has a lovely long weekend!
Hi,
I am also on the UBC waitlist. What I heard from others was that once the deadline for the 1st offers that went out end, which should've been I think March 30th. Then there is usually a big shuffle the week or two after. Then a very small shuffle in Summer and then 1st week of September.
So I feel for UBC waitlist the first shuffle should be this coming week or two.
Did anyone receive any info from UBC of how many on the waitlist? And if we can be told our place on the waitlist?
I agree the waiting is hard.

The person I spoke to reassured me this is good news, so fingers crossed we get the official letter soon!
