Got the official letter from uvic today!

The person I spoke to reassured me this is good news, so fingers crossed we get the official letter soon!

Hi @ERNurse30 Im in the same boat. No wait list offer, just says recommended by the department. So I called and they said they are processing still, and the rest of us should get the official acceptance letter sometime this week!

Hi everyone! I got rejected from UNBC but I checked my application status on the uvic site and it changed to "recommended by department" I'm hoping this means good news! Fingers crossed for everyone waiting to hear back!

@Rimlak, thanks for that info! I'll definitely spread it out for next year. I also need distance ED as I can't really leave my little one. I really thought being trained in crrt and ecmo gave me that advantage haha! I will focus more on the primary care setting going forward!

Hi for those waiting for uvic, I got my rejection letter. I'm bummed out, was hoping those who did get into uvic could share with me their work experience? I have an average of 90% so I don't think my grades were the issue. I'm a critical care nurse, and prior to that I worked on a cardiac step down unit. So maybe I'm lacking in experience. Would love some insight! And those of you still waiting, good luck!!

My uvic one still says "under review by department.” Anyone else in the same boat?

Hi everyone, just found this thread! Congrats to everyone who has gotten in!! I'm a bit worried as I only applied to uvic. My application still says under review by department. Does this mean they've already sent out offers to the people who have been accepted? And those with under review - does this mean we wait to see if people decline offers and then maybe get offered? Thanks for any input!
