I wanted to confirm just because UBC is just over 10k for the whole program which is incredible! I don't think it will be substantially more but I wanted to make sure before I decline my ubc offer!

I don't believe the number of applicants is publicly available anywhere. As for number of seats:
UBC- 30
Uvic- 25 (I think, 5 are post-degree seats)
TRU- 15
UNBC- I'm not sure, is it 15 or 20?

They are giving people until April 4th to decide, so if you are waitlisted, you should know more by then!

I asked UVic back in October or November about the acceptable courses, and these were listed. I'm currently enrolled in the SOCI 301 and so far it's really straightforward. The other ones I think are more work and not as relevant.
