  1. Yes! UBC — Surrey campus was my first choice! I prefer learning in person, and l know several alumni who've had good things to say about the NP Program at UBC! Tuition is also a bit cheaper. If I didn't get into UBC though, I would've accepted the offer at UVic! I completed my BSN there and had a phenomenal learning experience!
  2. Hey guys! I'll be declining my offer from UVic so the waitlist will move a bit
  3. Any idea approx when that would be? Not yet! They're all still pending.
  4. Hello! Does anyone know when UBC will send out our school schedule? I am hoping that they send schedules soon so that we could plan our time off, etc. I have a prior commitment in April next year. I also wonder how much of the program is online and in person...
  5. Yes I reached out to them too and they clarified I'm in the Surrey campus but I swear my letter said Vancouver. Oh well, happy that it's Surrey!!
  6. Yes! It comes through to your email and then you have to check your application on the UBC site!! I just noticed that I've been offered admx to the Vancouver campus even though I chose Surrey... so strange. I should've requested Vancouver haha
  7. Awesome!! Just joined thanks for making the group
  8. Congrats all!! I'm wondering if there's already a FB group for our incoming class at UBC. If not, I'd be happy to start one so we can begin building our cohort community early..share application updates, support each other through the next steps, and stay connected while we prepare for the program. If there's a group that already exists, please drop the link! If not, let me know if you'd be interested in joining and I'll get one set up for us. It would be great for our cohort to start connecting and helping one another from the start. Cheers!
  9. OMG got my acceptance letter into UBC at 1612. Holy smokes!! 3 years in the making aghhh for those of u still waiting, Goodluck! got denied at TRU AND UNBC which I didn't have high hopes for bcus I have 0 rural experience LOL. Goodluck everybody!
  10. How interesting! I wonder why they offered Surrey. Perhaps lots of applicants requested Vancouver ... I know there's a handful of students from Van who have had to attend Surrey campus for the 2025 intake and they're quite upset about it. Maybe they should increase the # of seats.
  11. For those who got into UBC, did you get an email from UBC directly or the grad program officer?
  12. Congrats on the offer!! I'm still patiently waiting ... I don't know what time their office closes today but it's usually not a good sign when you don't hear back at the same time as everyone else. Fingers crossed!
  13. Oh no!! Has anyone in this forum rec'd an admx letter from ubc yet??
  14. Any clue when we should expect to hear back from UBC or UNBC?
  15. Mine also still says decision pending and my email login isn't working for some reason ... everyone who's been accepted, has the application status updated too or just email?
