Underwear question

Published

What kind of underwear do you guys wear under your scrubs? I just got into clinicals and was wondering what brand and style you guys where that stay put and don't ride up! Thanks

Thanks for the link. Within months after I donated all my old vinyl (original I Love Rock and Roll, Runaways, and Queens of Noise included) to Goodwill, a local stereo store started carrying turntables for about a hundred bucks, again.

If I ever get out of school, maybe I'll have the money to buy the CD's.

Er, is this off topic at all?

I try to avoid wearing white pants. I am not too comfortable in thongs ( the ones with the wide strip up the butt.) I think the most comfortable is hipsters, and g strings ( the ones with the skinny strip up the butt.) I cannot do grany panties cause they feel like they will fall off, and they give me 4 butt cheeks!!!!

G sting: glorified dental floss.

Heck if someone's going to wear a string up their butt, then what's the point of wearing them? The thought of bending over souns painful.

i had some of the best laughs in weeks reading this!

i am a former military lpn and current rn

when i was in the military i had a ltc who got really upset one day while were were having a mandatory "pee test". i had on a garter and stockings and white bikinis. the ltc started doing "underwear checks" as the military regulation stated that under hospital white uniforms , "females will wear underwear that is of cotton or cotton lined crotch and neutral in color, or white". i am caucasion, so light "neutral or tan" should have worked but i chose white. once she started the "underwear checks" i learned to wear thong underwear. she brought me up before the hospital commander and when i pointed out that the regulation stated "of commercial design" and did not specify a cut or style- he told the female ltc to stop the nonsense! lol

now, i wear whatever style i am in the mood for depending on the number of hours already worked, the number of hours to work, and the workday to laundry day ratio...lol

keep up the great humor- we need it

When I did my clinicals I was allowed to wear colored scrubs so I wore any color underwear . Hanes her way bikini cuts fit great and don't ride up. As for the bra I wore Playtex cross your heart or Hanes Her way T back sports bra there both comfortable. Especially if you have to do alot liftng.:p

We wear Navy scrubs in the ER. So I wear any color/style of udergarments I want. All my panties are by Victoria's Secret. They are comfortable and last a long time. When I wore white, I stuck to white and tan tones.

Victoria's secret microfiber bikini's in tan or white. No ride, no crotch seam and very comfortable!

Well weather wearing whites for clinicals or the hosp issued green @ work, I always wear cotton briefs under a pair of gym shorts!

As to the women's briefs with the pee-hole; a feature that niether guys or girls use!

Ahhhh and a funny undie story: one night a nurse wore a pair of Sponge Bob Square Pants briefs under her scrubs. Obviously they were visable. And yes that night, Sponge Bob did have a goteee!!!

Don't you just love this thread.

I think i'll be asking for an extended role in my next appraisal......

' Head of underwear checker'. I guess I won't be in a hurry to leave work.

I remember once in CNA clinicals the intructor was upset with a student who wore white thongs. "Her portals of entry were not properly covered!" is how the instructor explained her distaste of the students actions.

For some reason the instructor felt the need to tell me this. I am proud that kept a straight face during the conversation (well actually it was a monolouge, would've started giggling if tried to speak. Especially when this thought crossed my mind "Well maybe you should give her some slack. After all we know she's a real blonde!") Yes words better off not spoken.

I'm now in RN program @ same college. That prof no longer here. However the program officially bans thongs. When another prof in 1st semester reminded of that policy.

I silenced the room by stating, "Well no more wearing my fucsia thong the next two years!"

Picture a furry former fullback in his 40s and that will give you the visual image the prof and the rest of the class tried to remove from their brains!

Nothing comes between me and my Cherokees....

no really this thread is too funny. I remember when I took my CNA class we had to wear white pants and I stupidly wore white underwear....with smiling monkeys all over them...but I thought i was okay cuz my scrub to covered my butt really well until she made us all bend over to do a check....I was so embarrassed...no more white pants for me after that class

I hope you guys know what i'm talking about but I wear the bootie short kind (they are like little shorts...kinda) they are low rise so they don't show over the waist, and don't have big underwear lines. I'm also scared that sometimes scrubs can split so they will not show my @$$ to the world.

but that is just my choice.

I wear Fruit of the Loom nylon with elastic at the waist and legs. Never had a problem with riding up. They do show through in whites but I don't wear whites unless the top is long. May not be anyone's style. Just remember what momma said.....always make sure they don't have holes and are clean...just in case of an accident!!!!!!
