  1. undefinedundefinedundefined :roll :roll i had some of the best laughs in weeks reading this! i am a former military lpn and current rn when i was in the military i had a ltc who got really upset one day while were were having a mandatory "pee test". i had on a garter and stockings and white bikinis. the ltc started doing "underwear checks" as the military regulation stated that under hospital white uniforms , "females will wear underwear that is of cotton or cotton lined crotch and neutral in color, or white". i am caucasion, so light "neutral or tan" should have worked but i chose white. once she started the "underwear checks" i learned to wear thong underwear. she brought me up before the hospital commander and when i pointed out that the regulation stated "of commercial design" and did not specify a cut or style- he told the female ltc to stop the nonsense! lol now, i wear whatever style i am in the mood for depending on the number of hours already worked, the number of hours to work, and the workday to laundry day ratio...lol keep up the great humor- we need it
  2. Laws based on Biblican preachings? Bah Hum Bug! Animals know that a "union" is between opposite sexes, Nature has laws...oh that is right- Science proves a "Higher Power" created all of these...Interesting to see that Christianity is the oldest religion and also acknowledges God as the Creator.....Just my two cents worth
  3. i disagree. first, she did not say in the presence of a patient, but over their deceased body. secondly, there is not possible way to keep religion and science separate! i have even had "athiest" nurses ask other known christian nurses for prayers for themselves and their patients in times of need. i do not believe in pushing anyone's religion on another- god leaves us the choice to choose...have a great day and i will be praying for you too :-)
