Hello everyone! I may be a little early with this, but here's a new post for all of you hoping to apply this September 2nd for the Spring 2015 semester at UMSON. You can post questions you have, helpful advice you would like to give (if you're already in the program), etc.
I specifically have a question for those who have already applied to the Spring 2014 semester and got in. When you applied last September, when in November did you get your acceptance letter in the mail? Was it the beginning, middle, or toward the end of November? I'm asking this because the other nursing school I am applying to only gives a 3-week time period after the end of October (when they let you know if you made it in or not) to accept or decline enrollment. So, if I don't make it into UMSON, I'd want to be able to give this other nursing school an answer before the 3-week time period runs out.
Congrats to everyone!!!! IF your status changed online or you received a phone call, you can breath a sigh of relief as I'm sure they didn't make any mistakes lol. I saw that Spring registration doesn't open up until Dec 1st now. I guess they pushed the date back due to the late decisions.
I am so happy for those of you who got in! Vigor- I feel ya! When I got my Towson acceptance, I started crying and shaking really hard. I couldn't even hold my phone to text people!
Still committee ready here. It's ok. I'll be cool for now. At least I got into Towson. I'm at work, and my son is sick, so I have distractions!
Still committee ready.
Katiep_123, yeah, at least I have a backup plan, so that makes it a little easier to wait. (The other option comes with its own set of headaches, so UMSON is still my first choice.) I suppose it has to change at some point.
It is really great to see more of you get accepted every time I'm on here!

@EEtoRN I saw my status online. No phonecall...........yet!! I think you are correct in that different people in admissions notified differently. I will feel better once I get a phonecall AND a letter in the mail!
