My name is Christina Smith! I know I started this thread a little soon, but I am sure others are just as anxious as I am about applying! I have submitted my application for the spring 2016 program I just want to post some background information about myself, and anyone who has been accepted to previous semesters can share some insight with me if the wish!
I have a 3.9 GPA. My science gpa is as follows:
A: A&P 1
A: A&P 2
B Micro (Which was taken in 5 weeks, do they view the length of the semester?!)
I have gotten As in all of my other courses, and just need algebra and chemistry (which I am taking together this fall.)
I have been a CNA for 2.5 years, and have worked as a med tech for 14 months, and have recently been employed by Carroll Hospital as a MED/SURG PCT.
I have not taken my TEAS, but have purchased a study guide and plan to STUDY STUDY STUDY!!
I was accepted into my community college's ADN program, but I want to step outside my comfort zone and head towards my dream school. I am so nervous!!!!!!!!!
Yea. I'm going to George Washington. But the fact that Thanksgiving has passed and my status still hasn't changed and there's so much to do makes me glad I had another choice. It's pretty crazy to still not know. Perhaps next year they'll make the deadlines earlier?
In a previous forum Grey Lady posted that after the "first round" of acceptances go out, they wait and see who accepts and then more decisions are made from there, depending on who accepts and who declines. Ahhhh, I would die if I were still waiting! Good thing you have an awesome backup!
I found out I got in a week ago Friday, but I still have gotten a letter or email about the acceptance. Anyone else had an online status change but nothing in writing as of yet?
Yea they make the next round of decisions but it also doesn't help that their first round went out like 2 weeks later than usual. I have a feeling some tweaking will be done especially since they are adding more students. Congrats again to everyone!
Katie, I found out a week ago Friday as well but havent recieved any call, letter, or email. I was waitlisted if that matters at all. Anyone know when those who are waitlisted would be informed that no spots opened for them by?
Being waitlisted is not the end of it yet, there's still a chance :) I have already gave up my seat at Towson, so I'm hoping my seat will be given to you. @qiqi95
For those who were accepted, have you guys received confirmation if they have received the form and deposit fee?
i just called and found out they haven't received mine yet so now im getting a little worried since I mailed that out on the 23rd, before the holidays began. The deadline for me is on Wed :/ if they don't receive it by tomorrow afternoon, it looks like I may have to drive up there myself and drop it off (which is a long long drive T.T)
