My name is Christina Smith! I know I started this thread a little soon, but I am sure others are just as anxious as I am about applying! I have submitted my application for the spring 2016 program I just want to post some background information about myself, and anyone who has been accepted to previous semesters can share some insight with me if the wish!
I have a 3.9 GPA. My science gpa is as follows:
A: A&P 1
A: A&P 2
B Micro (Which was taken in 5 weeks, do they view the length of the semester?!)
I have gotten As in all of my other courses, and just need algebra and chemistry (which I am taking together this fall.)
I have been a CNA for 2.5 years, and have worked as a med tech for 14 months, and have recently been employed by Carroll Hospital as a MED/SURG PCT.
I have not taken my TEAS, but have purchased a study guide and plan to STUDY STUDY STUDY!!
I was accepted into my community college's ADN program, but I want to step outside my comfort zone and head towards my dream school. I am so nervous!!!!!!!!!
Has anyone heard anything about when they will let decisions out? I've heard it's the first week of November but I wanted to know if any of you guys have heard otherwise?
So I've been MIA for a while but thought I'd like to mention that I work with one of the parents of someone who applied to the RN-BSN program at UMSON and she asked me if I found out if I was notified of my admission decision yet... and of course I haven't like many of us here.
But she continued on to say that her daughter found out yesterday that she was accepted into the RN-BSN program.... .
I assume RN-BSN applicants hear back sooner than BSN applicants... right? Erghh this doesn't help with my anxiety levels! At least we will find out our fates in the next couple of weeks, hopefully!
The RN to BSN program and admissions process is ENTIRELY different from the BSN. One does not affect the other in any way.
been following your thread...... question.... I applied to Towson and UMSON. I heard back from towson and was accepted. but havent heard from Maryland like the rest of you. Now the problem is I have to respond to Towson before Maryland releases their decisions.... I guess I just accept Towson and pay the deposit. I dont want my seat to be given to someone else if I dont get into Maryland.... Anyone else in this situation?
@kkendall0621 I'm also in the exact same position as well. Got accepted to the nursing program and I was contemplating if i should wait till the very last minute until Nov 2 and pay the enrollment fee for Towson. But I just accepted the fact I might lose a couple of hundreds lol. I just paid my enrollment fee today and boy did that hurt my wallet
I did it online. When you got the acceptance letter from Towson, they should have also said to enroll through a website. I believe the website was http://www.towson.edu/enrollnow. There you sign the enrollment contract electronically and pay it online as well.
