My name is Christina Smith! I know I started this thread a little soon, but I am sure others are just as anxious as I am about applying! I have submitted my application for the spring 2016 program I just want to post some background information about myself, and anyone who has been accepted to previous semesters can share some insight with me if the wish!
I have a 3.9 GPA. My science gpa is as follows:
A: A&P 1
A: A&P 2
B Micro (Which was taken in 5 weeks, do they view the length of the semester?!)
I have gotten As in all of my other courses, and just need algebra and chemistry (which I am taking together this fall.)
I have been a CNA for 2.5 years, and have worked as a med tech for 14 months, and have recently been employed by Carroll Hospital as a MED/SURG PCT.
I have not taken my TEAS, but have purchased a study guide and plan to STUDY STUDY STUDY!!
I was accepted into my community college's ADN program, but I want to step outside my comfort zone and head towards my dream school. I am so nervous!!!!!!!!!
Wait. Who got their acceptances early this morning?? I've refreshed the page about 10 times now within the last 8 hours and I do not see a change. This is killing me
yeah kayrock, I have no idea about what their acceptances are from community colleges. I went to HCC. Anyone know anything??
Oh I'm sorry Chinar37! I was referring to when I woke up at like 2am and checked the thread and saw that people got accepted. If you look back they posted around 11pm/12am if I remember correctly.
Hey guys! I just got up, I couldn't sleep till 3am since I found out at 12! Haha. Like I said before, on last year's thread, people found out wayyyyy later than others (even people not waitlisted). Don't give up! Also, I'm proof that they are working super late to get everyone notified. I checked at about 9 and there was no change. I decided to check for some reason at 1145 before I went to bed and it had been updated! Crazy.
I know they send out the first "wave" if acceptances and they have 2 weeks to respond...then they fill in the rest of the spots based upon that....so I do not think if you don't hear right away you are necessarily waitlisted...they may just be waiting to see how many people they have out of the first wave? I did some major stalking on previous forums and saw that...lol
