Thank you! I applied to the 4-year track at Shady Grove in Rockville. The campus is right by where I live so I don't mind going there. I received an e-mail notifying me of my acceptance and then received an email saying my status on the application has been updated.

So I just found out I received an acceptance offer for the FNP program! You guys were right not to stress. Good luck to everyone still waiting for decisions!

I finished my interview (not too confident about how it went ?). I was told I will find out the decision by end of week.

Hello everyone, I applied to the UMSON DNP program in late January. My application status changed to Committee Review on 2/24/21 and has been there since. I also applied to the Shady Grove campus and chose the 4 year track. I will update you all on my status once it changes. I have not because I'm still completing my fourth semester. I was going to submit after completing my program and passing my NCLEX in May/June. I noticed it says for my remaining prerequisites courses which are like chemistry, anatomy, etc. all of which I have already completed before entering my ADN program. Perhaps I will contact admissions and check with them.

Hey all! I just received my letter of acceptance to the RN-to-BSN program for Fall 2018 :). A little background about myself... I'm currently enrolled in an ADN program in my last semester and am scheduled to graduate in May 2018. I submitted my application last year and was given provisional acceptance... Although I have maintained above a 3.0 since submitting my application, I did receive a C in one of my nursing courses in my third semester and am worried that my acceptance will be revoked. The letter states getting a "B or better on my remaining prerequisite courses" and I'm hoping it just applies to the pre-requisites listed in the pre-requisite course list on the UMSON RN-to-BSN application page . Can anyone shed any light on this? I'd be terribly disappointed if my acceptance is revoked.

It's been quiet in here lately! How's everyone's summer going? Aside from getting all the requirements in, has anyone started purchasing books and equipment? Is anyone interested in starting a Facebook group of some sort?

I received A's and B's on my prerequisites, GPA was around a 3.1 and I received 83% on my TEAS scores! To those who got their acceptance letters: I faxed my confirmation last Monday (the 13th) before I left for vacation and wasn't sure if they received it... The fax transmission came back as "OK" so maybe I'm just being paranoid. I don't want to show up at orientation tomorrow and they tell me they didn't receive the fax and I lost my seat . Did anyone else happen to fax their confirmation or did you just bring it in to their office?

My letter had a tracking number on it... The "we missed you slip" also did. I think there is one, but maybe admissions just doesn't keep that information at their office.

I'm not in DC but the letter specified to send them your confirmation by 6/17 (next Friday).

Ah. I have this odd feeling that I won't be getting off the Wait List this time around either... but I just found out I've been accepted to my back up school and am going to accept their offer for admission. Second time around and UMSON still didn't want me heh :'(. Wasn't meant to be for me. Congrats again to all those accepted and good luck to everyone else on the Wait List/hasn't heard back yet! I hope you hear good news soon. It was a fun journey with you all on here
