REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
My status just changed to waitlisted I know there's a tiny bit of hope in being waitlisted but I've heard that it's almost like a rejection. My friend was waitlisted twice for umson and she's an awesome student and is at chamberlain college now. This was the only school I applied to and was really banking on getting in. Guess that was a mistake!

Accepted as a provisional admit! I found out online at SURFS. Currently deciding between UMSON, hopkins, and GW.
Congrats on being accepted!! I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but if I were in your shoes AND if you are a MD resident, I would choose UMSON. UMSON and Hopkins are both top-tier schools so for me the rank is negligible but the COST??? Hands down I would rather go to the #6 school in the country for around $16K than go to a school with a big ego and a bigger tuition bill! And I know this first hand because I completed my undergrad education at GW and I was accepted into Georgetown's CNL program (which statistically was way more competitive than UMSON's)!

I wouldn't give up just yet! There have been people on this forum who were taken off the waitlist and given a spot, I however was not one of them and had to reapply! Stay patient but if you have to reapply again but this time apply to more MD state schools. Who knows, maybe third time's the charm!
