Sure! My GPA was at a 3.4 overall when I applied, and I think I had like a 3.8 in my sciences, but I still needed to complete micro and chem when I applied, so I was originally a provisional admit until I finished those classes with at least a B. My TEAS was a 90.7

I just want to let everyone know that it seemed to take FOREVER for my status to change on SURFS, even though a ton of people had already had their status changed. All I am saying is don't lose hope, until you get that last status change you never know what the decision is.

Hello all ! What campus is everyone applying for?? I remember last year being in your shoes ! Now I am a second semester traditional BSN at the shady grove campus, happily drowning in care plans and journal write ups and medsurg notes (yay!) lol. If there are any questions I could maybe answer feel free to send them my way!

My registration opened up May 4th. still waiting on my approval though so I can actually register

Status changed Tuesday and today I got my call and email ! Looking forward to seeing you guys in the fall at shady grove! And good luck to those still waiting!

So there can't be a C? I'm just so nervous about my chemistry class. I would still have a 3.4 science GPA with it as a C. Or is it just based off grades and not the GPA?

Status just got changed to provisional admit!! Does that just mean I have to submit my grades for this semester to them? Or how does that work... -Trad. BSN at the shady grove campus !

Not a lot going on in southern maryland at all, but this is my home and I love it! The hospital in Leonardtown is MedStar St. Mary's, and I will be working there for at least two years after I finally graduate nursing school, since I have a scholarship from them. It is a small hospital though. I know Calvert Memorial hospital is right over the bridge, and there is also a hospital in La Plata, though I can't think of the name right now. Other than that you would be looking at more of a drive from the Leonardtown area.

Hopefully they said late April just so people will stop asking lol, or maybe as an overestimate just in case? I just want to know already!

The only reason I would say no is because of what it says here . The section that goes over the motor abilities may be affected I guess.. Hope that helps. If not I'd say have her just call and ask!

When I went to an info session I was told that the TEAS score was mainly a requirement because the school was required to ask for it. They made it seem like the score doesn't hold that much weight on the application ( which kinda bummed me out bc I got a 90 on the TEAS. Kinda hoping that still helps me out ).
