REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)

Mine is finally at Committee Ready too. I expected it to take this long for me because my stuff was in so late-- but for you all whose statuses are also just changing, were your apps finished on time? Hopefully this means we hear next week!
Wow it really looks like they are behind for traditional BSN this time around! I got on allnurses expecting to see you all celebrate! Hang in there guys, I'm sure it will be sometime in the next week!
Also, accepted to Towson people, as soon as you get the call or letter from UMSON, call Ms. Necker and tell her that you are giving up your seat for the Fall 2015 semester. You'll be making a waitlisted student for Towson VERY happy.
Unlike Towson, the acceptance letter for UMSON comes in a regular envelope, ~4"x9". Be on the lookout! I'm so excited for you all!
For those of you who got accepted to Towson, I was wondering what you meant by "Does it apply to us?"
The way it works with Towson, is you apply to the SON and the University, you need to be accepted to both, you have to pay BOTH deposits if you want to attend. It seems like this might be what you were asking. If I am correct in thinking that, then MOST DEFINITELY YES, the University deposit deadline applies to you! If you do not pay the University deposit, in addition to the SON deposit, then you will forfeit your spot. You need to be a student of the university in order to be a student of their nursing school.
I was also waitlisted for the Spring and found out first by checking online. It has really taken longer this year for decisions, I hope we all hear back this week!
