REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
Wow it really looks like they are behind for traditional BSN this time around! I got on allnurses expecting to see you all celebrate! Hang in there guys, I'm sure it will be sometime in the next week!
Also, accepted to Towson people, as soon as you get the call or letter from UMSON, call Ms. Necker and tell her that you are giving up your seat for the Fall 2015 semester. You'll be making a waitlisted student for Towson VERY happy.
Unlike Towson, the acceptance letter for UMSON comes in a regular envelope, ~4"x9". Be on the lookout! I'm so excited for you all!
Same here! I was really expecting to see alot of happy posts about being accepted. They really are behind. I'm still waiting on an email from admissions about some transfer courses. They must have gotten a TON of applicants.
Hello everyone. I posted my acceptance to the BSN program in this group a couple weeks ago. I should've specified that in my post that i applied via the UMBC/UMSON partnership (which is why i was notified so early) Sorry for any confusion! Good luck to everyone still waiting!
