REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
If you are at Committee Ready your application is still alive and will sometime in the future change to either Admit Institution, Provisional Admit, Wait List or Rejected.& if I am rejected, will my status reflect it or will it stay at "committee read?"thanks!
I'm sweating brisk over here
If you are wait listed, is there anyway to find out how far you are on the list? And do you have to apply again for spring or do you automatically get put on the list?Thank you in advance
There is no ranking of the wait list. When offers are rejected the wait list is reviewed again in its entirety before new offers are made. This would include reviewing any new information, such as late transcripts. If you are Wait Listed and do not eventually receive an offer, when the class is finalized you will be asked if you would like to re-apply for the next semester in which case your application will be forwarded to the next semester.
Yay!! Grey Lady is back!! And I have a serious question for you! Within the last 24 hours I have run into a huge miscommunication fiasco at my CC. I wanted to withdraw from the Philosophy class I was taking because it was unnecessarily stressful and the only nursing program I applied to that required it is no longer an option for me! After a long and teary discussion with my professor, he is going to give me an Incomplete and then change it to a C once I turn in my final paper. However, I was accepted "Admit-Institution" for the CNL Program, should I be worried if my final transcript has a C on it? Will they even ask for my final transcripts? Getting a C in Philosophy plus an A in Psychology will bring my GPA down to a 3.7 at my CC, but am I in jeopardy of losing my spot even though I finished my pre-reqs with As????

what other program did you apply to that had you taking Philosophy? I have to take that over the summer if I chose to go to Notre Dame of Maryland Univ.!
Just curious!
I hope this all gets sorted out so its smooth sailing from here PinkEagle!
Congratulations to all who were accepted! Are you Shady Grove or Baltimore?
Grey Lady:
in reference to one of your post on this thread, if you were wait listed for the Spring term do you still fall into the poll with everyone for Fall consideration or are you weighed against those on the waitlist? Will only the Spring application be considered or all new documents that were received to apply towards the Fall cycle be considered? If accepted, will the flu shot for last year affect our entry or as long as we receive one prior to the first day of school be okay?
Thanks in advance

If you are Wait Listed and not given an admissions offer, you will be asked if you would like your application and supporting documents rolled over to the next semester. You are then considered the same as any other applicant for that semester. I think this can happen a maximum of two times in a row but am not sure about that. The flu shot is only good for one year. You are required to get the current year's flu shot annually so you will need a new one when available in August.
