REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
Ah just saw I was waitlisted for the Baltimore BSN program. I think this makes sense since I still have two classes outstanding I was planning to take this summer, but I was accepted to Georgetown's CNL program for the Fall. Definitely a tough choice will have to be made if I don't get taken off the waitlist for the fall-go to Georgetown in the Fall, or wait and hope I get in for the Spring for Maryland. Let the waiting game begin...again!
Hey guys. My decision just changed to wait list. I applied last semester and was denied. So hopefully I will get in this time! Does anyone know when we will hear by and what the next steps are? There is no info on the website.
I spoke with Ms. Jones in the admissions office today and according to her, everyone's status will be updated and final within the next two weeks. Final interviews are being conducted this week (CNL and DNP). The wait is almost over :)

Hey guys can someone answer my question. I still have to take a class during the summer. I know we have to submit our transcript before orientation. My question is when would orientation be?
I know that orientation for BSN at shady grove is August 21 &22
I was accepted into the Baltimore BSN program. I can't believe the wait is over! Those of you who have been wait listed, don't lose hope! Praying for yall!

BUT.... I'm also sooooo happy for all of you who got accepted and the ones on the wait list! Don't give up hope you!! Everyone else still waiting like me.. FINGERS CROSSED!!!
