REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
I was waitlisted for this semester... Do you recommend retaking some classes to get a higher grade in them? Specifically the core sciences? Also, would you recommend re-taking the TEAS? I would like to reapply for the Spring but I'm worried about doing a lot of work just to get waitlisted again
Hey guys can someone answer my question. I still have to take a class during the summer. I know we have to submit our transcript before orientation. My question is when would orientation be?
Has anyone applying for the CNL program who interviewed last week (week of April 13th) heard back that applied AFTER the first deadline of February 2nd before it changed to rolling admissions???
My status still says committee ready and I have a 4.0 GPA with a 82nd percentile rank on the teas. I am still completing 3 credits this semester though but it seems as if others are still taking classes also. I am a little worried that my status hasn't changed yet. I applied to the BSN at shady grove so maybe the status change is slower for Shady Grove???
I spoke with Ms. Jones in the admissions office today and according to her, everyone's status will be updated and final within the next two weeks. Final interviews are being conducted this week (CNL and DNP). The wait is almost over :)

Is this for all applicants (including BSN), or just for CNL and DNP?
