UMSON Fall 2015
Ah just saw I was waitlisted for the Baltimore BSN program. I think this makes sense since I still have two classes outstanding I was planning to take this summer, but I was accepted to Georgetown's CNL program for the Fall. Definitely a tough choice will have to be made if I don't get taken off the waitlist for the fall-go to Georgetown in the Fall, or wait and hope I get in for the Spring for Maryland. Let the waiting game begin...again!

UMSON Fall 2015
Oh nice PinkEagle, I still technically have my application in at Georgetown, but haven't completed the LikeLive Interview yet. My problem is they switched from an ABSN to the MS Entry, which isn't the program I want just yet. Personally I want to have my BSN before I go back and get a more specialized Masters. But, since they did extend the deadline, I might still apply just in case! I already have my BSN in Human Biology, but most nurses have told me a BSN is key for jobs right now, but Masters might be the next big thing. In-state tuition is also a huge factor, and at GW, I applied for the Washington Squared Program. I think in order my choices right now would be UMD, Towson, GW, Georgetown.

UMSON Fall 2015
I've been reading these threads since the fall so I thought I would finally jump in! My application for UMD, Towson, and George Washington have all been sent in and confirmed. My Maryland application is "Complete and Ready for Review" so it's out of my hands now! Good luck to all you guys, and good luck to us trying to be patient!!

Online Anatomy class with lab!
Hey kaseyrose! I took a few of my prerequisites online through John's Hopkins Nursing School! They offer Anatomy with a virtual lab. I do know that at some of the schools I am applying to will not accept a virtual lab, so just check with your schools first. Here is the link! UMB School of Nursing Fall 2015
A little delayed in this chat but I am applying to UMD, George Washington, Georgetown, and Towson for Fall of 2015. All of my apps are in and I'm just waiting on my last professors letter of recommendation. I am a second degree student (already have a BA in Human Biology) and have been working full time for the last three years in NoVA. I always knew I wanted to do something in healthcare, but I tossed around the ideas of physical therapy, PA, and Nursing. Nursing was the winner! I loved some of the volunteer work I sid, and have met so many incredible people recently who are nurses themselves! I am so so excited for decisions to come out in March ( and so so nervous!) My stats are 3.5 GPA overall, 3.6 prerequisite GPA, and 91.3% on the TEAS V. I think Maryland asked for a minimum 3.0 science and overall GPA with TEAS V scores above 70%.
