REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
UNSIB is a typo .. I haven't had a chance to cut down my finger nails and I'm using my cellphone! It should be UNSON .. Forgive me!
Haha no problem. My professor did email the letter himself; he has just been keeping me up to date on the correspondence he's received from the office so I know that it was completed :) My status says complete and ready for review, so praying it changes to "Committee Ready" soon...from previous threads I saw some people still at "Complete and Ready for Review" as late as Mid March, so we'll seeeeeee. Like you said, if something needs to be sent or updated or addressed, I'm sure the office will reach out to me.
So I actually spoke to the Admission coordinator for the CNL Program, Sheena Jackson, and she said that statuses won't be changed to "committee ready" until the applications have reached her office and she reviews them and passes them to the committee. Apparently she hasn't seen anyones application yet so our status still says "complete and ready for review". But she shave no indication as to when she would receive them.
This applies to CNL applicants.
@afowler77,
I was reading your posts to a previous thread and you said we should move forward completing items on the acceptance list. My question is: do background checks expire? I am prior military so I am current on all of my shots (except the flu shot--not sure when to get it since it applies for the Fall) and I've scheduled my appointment to have my physical. I attend an information session on March 21st so I will ask questions there as well just would like to complete as much as possible.
