  1. Barron's. Read it on and off over the course of two weeks and passed. Love it and highly recommend it!
  2. Congratulations! You will do well, don't be nervous!
  3. Hello all. I also applied to AG-ACNP, no word back yet. Congrats to those who landed an interview, I'm sure you all will do fine. Wishing everyone the best of luck!
  4. Also, I believe ADN nurses make $1 less than BSN nurses at Holy Cross.
  5. Holy Cross offers $3,000 in either loan repayment (capped st $9,000) or tuition reimbursement (not capped) for each fiscal year beginning in July. Part time employees are offered $1,500 (unsure of the loan cap). Yearly raises and option to advance on clinical ladder for up to $4.50 after 6-12 months of employment (unsure exactly how long).
  6. Congrats to everyone excepted. I'm an MC alumni of almost 3 years and would like to answer any questions. Of course things have changed, but I am still in contact with a few professors that are still there (a handful has left since then). Anywho, please feel free to ask away or PM me. Good look with nursing school rigors, you all will do great!
  7. Any familiarity with University of MD interviews? Much appreciated, thanks!
  8. Oh and a huge congratulations on landing an interview! Good luck!
  9. Do you mind me asking where did you get your experience? Trauma center? Small hospital?
  10. Anyone interested in applying to UMD CRNA program starting June 2019? What are your stats? I know it is very early to start this thread, but I figured this could be used as a place to jot down information as we begin to gather items for our application.
  11. I recommend making the group name the expected graduation time i.e. Spring 2017. That way it wont get confused with previous groups (each semester usually does this for their cohort).
  12. Huge congrats to those who got in! Word of advice, prepare yourselves now, nursing school will change your lives. If you go in with a prepared mentality, you will be just fine! For those who are waiting, be confident and patient. Most of all good luck! Look forward to meeting you all (possibly at orientation)!
  13. Hi MC Prospects. I am a recent grad from MC and would like to offer myself to give you all any advice. I was very involved in the college and was part of the first class to go through the new curriculum. Unfortunately, I cannot give any advice on when to expect acceptance letters because when I applied in 2013, I received notification the beginning of this month. Also, MC has recently increased the amount of students they accept so feel confident, but of course there is still a wait list and some turned away. MC is a competitive program, but as long as there is a balance in your TEAS and GPA (especially science), then you'd be ok. Don't worry, more than the people in this thread applied, a lot of people become familiar with this site while their in school - you all are a step ahead! Good luck and please feel free to reach out when in doubt!
