Ukiah Valley Medical Center Summer 2011 Versant Residency Program

I wanted to start this thread so those who are applying to the summer 2011 Ukiah Valley Medical Center's Versant Residency RN program have a place to communicate. Feel free to post about any experiences with Ukiah, the hospital, and the application process. I would also love to her from past Ukiah Valley Versant Residents if any of you are out there! :)

made the 2.5hr drive up to ukiah from oakland today. pretty straight forward. 20min powerpoint on versant program followed by tour of the hospital. it's not a very big hospitals so powerpoint, tour, and q&a lasted about an hour and a half. we hear back if we get an interview by may 4th.

Is the Q&A portion the interviews with managers? How are they able to pick who will get a 1st interview or everyone will?

sorry belated response - not sure if you already went to an open house, but:

q&a was held by the versant program manager at ukiah, though i think it may vary with each open house. the tours were led by RNs who were from previous versant classes and they were the ones who collected our paperwork as well. so i'm guessing they're going by our applications, the 2 seconds talking to us at the open house, and the questionnaire/rec letters to select ppl for 1st round interview.
