I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.
I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.
I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!
Hi khaleessi, im also from ASC, may i know who's your employer? I was put on queue last april 14, but still no DL too, im the same boat as you. I'm just wondering if we are on the same hospital under ASC

There must be a lot of applicants lately. I submitted my application last May 12, barcoded documents sent May 16 and received by NMC May 19 according to DHL. It's June 7 and still no update on my end of the portal. I emailed them on May 18 to ask a few questions and still have not received a reply. I uploaded a wrong document in my application and did not realize my mistake until after I pressed submit, so now I can't fix it. *cries* So I called them up last week to follow up and inform them of my error and I was told it takes 15 working days for them to upload the barcoded forms to their system, and only then will it reflect on the website. Then I'll have to wait for their email about the correction and then I can provide the correct document. So I guess all I can do now is wait. Wait wait wait. I'll wait until June 10 for the documents to reflect as "received" then call them up again next week to follow-up if no progress. Gah!!! In the mean time, I've been studying for the OSCE. How's everyone else doing?
I was tracking the documents sent by scfhs to nmc via this courier but it is almost one week now and it still says departed country is it normal or a delay?

Edited to add: as in, do you go to University of Northampton to find out the standards/pedantics of their marking and train based on that? Or is it general training?

Hello, I'd like to ask to those who completed the assessment, what did you write on the "dates when you supervised the applicant". Is it like the duration when you were trained under that person or the length that you've been working together?

On mine they put the dates we had been working together.
