I am posting this forum as a place to discuss the UCLA Winter 2019-2020 RN residency application! As a quick update, the application just opened today Oct 11th and will remain open until Oct 20th.

Hi! I had my interview yesterday as well. I was rather nervous going in but they were very nice and friendly. They basically went over my resume and asked me about each part of it, as well as about my senior preceptorship. I feel that you should not be nervous at all, just go in there feeling confident and proud of yourself that you got this far ? You got this!

I was originally interviewing with 5MN at SM, but they called me on Tuesday saying that they are not accepting new grads for this cohort. They had to reschedule my interview with another unit, which is 5E/7E now.

Good afternoon!!

I applied to the new grad program with my 1st choice Med-Surg, 2nd choice OR and I got an interview with OR yesterday. Today I received an rejection email from UCLA from the OR haha i hope that someone more qualified can take my place because I really don't have OR experience and didn't really know why they chose me hahah

Anyways, I am very blessed to have had another opportunity with another hospital so good luck all the rest of you who are waiting to hear back! Sending you guys good vibes ❤️

Has anyone that interviewed with 8ICU or oncology received a rejection? Asking for myself and my friend ?
