Man... How long are they reviewing my application? Since 3/24!!! arghhhghghhghgh!!!!

@FatLprechaun. No personal statement but make one in case you need for other places and modify it before you send. The next UCLA application will be sometime around October, I believe. Good luck!

has anyones status not changed since they first submitted application? i figured they would have read through mine by now since i applied an hour after the application opened at midnight

I think it was only last week that HR just got done with only half of the applications, so I can see them stating it could be closer to the end of the month to make some more final decisions on their choices as they narrow down the pool size to a few hundred from a couple of thousand or more, then those few hundreds are picked to less than a hundred openings and that's not counting the ones who are already internals.

Don't forget that all of the openings, each dept. unit only has a single, a couple to a few job slots to be filled.

My status still has not changed either. I'm an internal applicant so things may be different, but from what others have told me, the status isn't always accurate.

Just got a reference check email. Not to specifically enter the references yet but to look out for that email soon.

However, my status online still says "Online Assessment Completed".

Check your emails.. reference emails are going out as we speak (as I type) :)

Yippeeee....got the reference e-mail too, but no link sent yet....wait, wait, wait....so far that's better than "not selected" or as an alternate. It's still pretty far away, but one step at a time.

THe HR person lied to me! I called couple days ago asking if the next step was references, and she said no, it was a phone interview....very weird. anyways, glad I got the email! wondering when they will send out the link

got the reference email and the link!!!!! the link actually came first though lol

it says you have to put down 4 references and 2 must be from your direct managers. does your clinical instructor count?? i have only had one "nursing" job as an intern.. HELP!

I got it too! Holy moly the most exciting moment I have had...in a long time. I did not get the link from Skill Survey yet though. I am wondering if there is a technical error with this, however, I don't want to bother them yet...

Newgrad12 - As the e-mail from the recruiter states, a clinical instructor does indeed count as a supervisor/manager. Go for it!

I'm going insane. On another forum (on Facebook) so many people have already received their reference email and link email. I haven't received anything. :( I wonder if they will be continuing to send them out.

A current employee stated that your status will not change at this point.

This might be a stupid question but is it ok to put one friend down as a reference??? Last time I put down supervisors/ clinical instructors for ALL references. I thought maybe putting a friend would give them better insight to the type of person I am.
