I haven't gotten the link yet. For those of you who got it, it's only 4 references? I thought it was 5 from previous threads?

In filling out the references, it says "2 managers" required. I have read the past people wrote they mainly did clinical instructors and/or professors. I was assuming this would be considered "manager". But when you go to fill out it asks to classify the references and one option is professor/instructor and another is manager. Should we do 2 managers or can clinical instructors count as this?

starghadeer- I would not put a friend down as a reference. It should be a work reference or a nursing instructor (someone who is expected to be impartial, fair, honest)

I got my reference email today too! Such a relief to finally get a glimmer of hope!

Aww i'm so sad... I didn't get any e-mail. Do you think they'll continue sending e-mails out tomorrow? And for the ones that got the e-mails today, did you all apply to the same unit? Which units did you guys (the ones that got the e-mails) apply for? I'm hoping they're doing it unit by unit or they're doing out of states first. Are you guys all from outside CA? And can someone tell me which e-mail address I should be on the lookout for? That way I can spot it easily if it's in the spam mail? Thanks.

I like that way of thinking watermelon21. I'm in Los Angeles and have not received the email yet. However, I know that some people did receive it who live in the area. I also know that other people that applied to the same unit have received it, as well. Good luck! Hopefully they will continue sending them tomorrow.

I received the email letting me know to expect the reference email, but not the actual reference part yet... live in the LA area, applied to the CTICU as my first choice... Good Luck!!!

Csoo, I received the e-mail from UCLA much earlier today, but still haven't received the Survey link...and of course I'm so worried, haha. Hoping it's just a technical thing, and it's in my inbox tomorrow.

I'm actually an internal applicant and remember from when I applied for my CCP position that they came HOURS AND HOURS apart (maybe a day?)... it drove me crazy back then, but geesh, it's 100x worse this time around! Skill Survey is the company that organizes all the reference stuff so it's probably just a delay/back-up on their part... I'm sure we'll both get the next email soon! :)

I received all three emails today. I applied to medsurge so maybe they are sending out by unit? I know a friend that also applied to medsurge and also received all three emails.

You said 3 emails.. what was the 3rd email? I know we get the one asking for references, the actual reference email from skill survey and what else?
