Does anyone know if they are still sending out emails? I'm application status still says 'application being reviewed' since March 22th :( I put ER, NICU and LD as my choices, in that order. I've been checking my email every 5 minutes and it's driving me crazy :(

my guess is yes. someone posted on facebook that his friend had received an email 2 hours ago. the unit was for PEds but i don't think it matters which unit you applied to because it doesn't seem to be going in any specific order.

Is it okay to use a manager from a previous non-nursing related job for one of the references?

anyone know how long we have for your references to respond? I put five references, and only three have responded so far. granted its only been two days since i got the email, im hoping at least a week, because the other two are all on vacation, and dont come back till next monday

Anyone else still know if they are still sending out e-mails for reference checks? I have a couple of friends who said, it's been awfully quiet and hoping they get the good news.

The mid-April personal interview dates is approaching pretty soon.

does anyone know how they pick after the references do the survey?? I guess they are narrowing it down quick! and as far as the interviews go, is it just one interview?

They pick people based on what your references rated you on the survey. Also, If you dont have enough references complete the survey they will not consider you for an interview. Someone on another forum on FB said you need a minimum of three people take the survey.I had three clinical instructors complete the survey. I'm waiting on two past mangers to do it.

My instructors/references are all on spring break. This is the worst possible time to have to track 5 of them down.
