Does anyone know if the references for the survey need to be the references you used on the initial application?

You said 3 emails.. what was the 3rd email? I know we get the one asking for references, the actual reference email from skill survey and what else?

I got 5 email, but 3 were the same email saying they will send out the link soon and two were the link. So i think Mmlh09 might have gotten same email more than once.

FYI- a classmate of mine who applied to PICU, Peds & Adult Oncology got her email today too for those of you who are going that direction...

Hi Everyone, just wanted to put in input and say I got the email saying to expect the link, but didn't receive the actual email with the link yet. I'm in the LA area and applied to PICU, peds and ED (in that order). Good luck all!

ok i got the link and the email. i actually got 3 and the LINK came first.. what a surprise! ok 2 emails came from "UCLA Health System" and 1 email came directly from the nurse recruiter Sheri. I chose NICU as my first choice and i am NOT from LA. im from houston :)

this is what the email said..

"Thank you for your continued interest in UCLA Health System. An important part of the hiring process is reference checking. You will be receiving an email with a link to enter in your references: 5 total, of which 3 must be current or past managers/supervisors (or 4 total for select positions). Once you input your references an email will be sent to these contacts, allowing them to complete their reference electronically through the SkillSurvey website. "

"We have identified April 12th, April 16th,April 17th and April 24th for interview days. If you are selected for an interview, you will be given the date that corresponds to your area of interest you have identified on the application."

let me just say that UCLA is sending these reference things at a very bad time. two of my supervisors work at a university/college and so they will be on spring break. and my third reference is a PhD nursing student. i hope i get this link soon so i can send it before they leave!

References sent, whewww....and I even heard back from a couple of them already, double whewww....

But does anyone know how many possible positions are open in the various units?

I still haven't received the reference email!! I only got ONE email from ----- yesterday evening! HELP!

i emailed ------ this morning. she says that we need to be patient. it takes a long time to input everyone's name individually into the system.

Oh great! Thank you so much. Btw, I called the number that she gave us in the email, and she said that UCLA hasn't inputed everyone's names yet, which is why it's taking a while. As soon as they input our names, we will get the link :)

For those who have gotten the link. Did anyone else notice that in the skill survey email it asks for 3 out of 5 references to be managers/supervisors but the recruiter's email asks for 2 out of 5 to be supervisors/manager/clin instructor/professor? Can we assume the recruiter is giving the correct information? Any thoughts?

Does anyone know if they are still sending out emails? I'm application status still says 'application being reviewed' since March 22th :( I put ER, NICU and LD as my choices, in that order. I've been checking my email every 5 minutes and it's driving me crazy :(
