UCLA New Grad Summer 2012 program
I was told at the interview she was looking for around 8 people. I can imagine how hard it must be to focus on school at this point =( but keep it up and finish strong!

UCLA New Grad Summer 2012 program
Hey there, I am an external applicant. also to Caligirl, i can't send pm's so hopefully you read this. I also had a second interview on the phone. I believe it was the Tuesday following the in person interview. They also told me they would let me know in about 2-3 weeks so I was not expecting a call from them at all! I'd imagine they are probably still making calls so I wish you the best of luck!

Does anyone know if the references for the survey need to be the references you used on the initial application?

Nursing in Japan?
Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone has any experience working as a nurse in Japan in a military hospital. If so, could you talk about your experience and how you were able to get the position? I have worked in Japan in an unrelated field but would like to return once I have finished nursing school. Any information/comments are appreciated. Thanks

Time off after nursing school?
Hello all, I have been a lurker of this site for quite some time but this is my first post. I have found a lot of info very helpful and was hoping for some direct assistance. I am currently in an accelerated bsn program with a graduation date next of summer. With this in mind I am considering taking some time off after graduation to move to Japan for a year or possible more, most likely working in a non nursing related field (however I will be searching for a potential nursing job out there at a military base hospital). My question is if I decide to do this will it be terrible difficult to find a nursing job later down the road? Will I be shooting myself in the foot if I do this? Any words of advice or personal stories would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time
