I just talked to a nurse recruiter on the phone. She told me they will be sending out their final emails on Monday, so there is still some hope for those of us who have not gotten an email. Good luck everyone! :)

Specializes in Emergency Department.

Haha right there with you newgrad. Hopefully we'll be hearing something by the end of the business week, next week! I would think. Either way, I think I'll be spending about $500 minimum on a last minute plane ticket, heh.

And...I'm really curious to find out where I'll be interviewing, because my choices were extremely "different"...

I sent out my references their surveys a few days ago and it still says pending. I asked one of my references today if she can fill it out as soon as possible and she said she is still waiting for a "consent" form and hadn't received it. Anyone know what this is all about????

Not sure what "consent form" they are talking about. I did have an issue where one of my references did not receive the reference form. I tried resending and she still didn't get it. Not sure if this is a problem with skill survey or on her end (in her spam folder or something) but I emailed skill survey about it. I hope it doesn't delay the process for me. I actually already have 5 people who have completed it... she's number 6. Really hoping the next step is hearing about interviews and not a dreaded "phone interview" that is like the survey we took :/

I sent mine to 5 and so far I have 3 completed. I just heard back from a manager who said he'd be happy to do it. Would it be appropriate to put 6 references? I don't want to look like I'm not following instructions...

i feel the same way. at the top of mine it says ATLEAST 4 and thats how many i put. i feel like if i add another i would look desperate... lol

I put in 6 references too. Since it's spring break and UCLA wanted a reply ASAP, I wanted to make sure enough of my references replied. I just hoping I'm not disqualified because I put 6 and not 5 like the email said.Did some emails say 5 and some say 4 references? I saw that other people only needed 4 but my email asked for 5.

This may be a question I should know already but I couldn't find the answer to. When they said "NICU" in Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, is that the same NICU in Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA?? or are these two separate NICUs?

Mattel Children's is not it's own separate hospital, it's a part of Ronald Reagan. I think the NICU is considered part of Ronald Reagan though, because it's next to L&D. There is one NICU at UCLA Santa Monica and one at RR UCLA. I think for people who applied to NICU, it said "both locations" so I don't know how they pick who goes to which medical center.
