Application being reviewed... I don't like this feeling...

My classmate compared it to standing blindfolded against a wall waiting to be shot... kind of dark but also kind of how I feel.... good luck everyone

@tashacorinne i applied the first day too! hmmm. wierd. hopefully you will be one of the lucky people who gets a second chance and get a call back saying we looked back at your app lol

@kaamsi thats good!!!!! mine still says all documents recieved and online assessment completed.. they havent even looked at mine yet :(

this is like the feeling when you were a kid waiting in anticipation for someone to put your thumb down in an epic game of heads up 7 up.

My classmate compared it to standing blindfolded against a wall waiting to be shot... kind of dark but also kind of how I feel.... good luck everyone

Hahaha I have a very dry sense of humor so I love this, and yes, sounds about right (as a new grad wanting a CA job).

Specializes in Pediatrics.

Last status update for me was 3/23. "Application is being Reviewed". OK, I'll take that.

I wish mine would change! I feel like my name is sitting in a huge pile of resumes. Good luck sugarlips!

same here. i applied on the first hour that it opened too. . .

I just hope I don't get the dreaded "not selected" or "alternate candidate chosen" e-mail.

I just came upon this thread. Is the application closed?? When I go the following link, it just shows a random job fair: UCLA Events CalendarIt sounds like the application opened in early March. How long is it open and did it close? Is it possible to e-mail the nurse recruiter to submit an application? After application, what's the rest of the schedule like (i.e., when are interviews and when does the new grad program start?). It's amazing how little information there is on the UCLA website.

Thanks to everyone for their help and good luck.

I believe the application period is closed unfortunately. You could email HR your resume, but not sure that it will be considered but maybe worth a shot. I believe they hire twice a year so keep your eyes out. Good luck

Thanks, Sandman.

For those who applied to UCLA in the beginning of the month, what exactly was included in the application materials? Was it just the cover letter, resume, and two letters of recommendation? Is the personal statement (if any) provided later?
