a friend of mine just got an interview for next week!!!!

I don't know what to think! maybe UD hasn't made up her decisions yet or she hasn't found who she has been looking for yet!

Thank you for the info. THat means she's interviewing 3 days. Thats a lot of applicants.

I just assume it meant telephone offer? because it feels pretty 'soft' until I see it on paper!

Yup! I haven't signed any paperwork yet so I just considered it a soft offer. Looking forward to meeting everyone!! I'm starting to stress about moving down there. As far as getting a temporary license, I think it's worth it. My permanent license didn't arrive until about a week after my temporary EXPIRED. The California Board of Nursing is a hot mess. :uhoh3:

I know she came back from vacation today. I emailed her Monday, so hopefully I get some kind of response this week, but I've been reading on the thread that she's interviewing a few more new grads so maybe we all won't hear from her until next week? Has anyone contacted her today?

I emailed her to confirm the day that she was going to make a phone call for our update and it is on May 16th!

For those waiting for callbacks, my fingers are crossed for you! I know the wait is so nerve-wracking, and being patient is one of the hardest things to be. Good luck, and I hope you all hear back soon.

Sorry if this has already been asked or talked about but its getting hard to follow some of the conversations. But has anyone heard from Acute Pedes or called the UD/HR in regards to this area? It seems like NICU has done some calling already. I'm getting antsy waiting but dont want to bug or annoy the UD too much.

I don't believe anyone has heard from acute peds yet. I was told during my interview that it would take 2-3 weeks for decisions to be made so we should be getting calls any day now!

I was told yesterday by HR that Acute Peds has not made decisions yet and that she just got back yesterday. I will let you know if I get any more info because HR said they would follow up with her today! So right now "no news is good news" :)

Hey Everyone, I just got a call from the UD in the NICU yesterday offering me a job. I'm not sure what order she is going in or how accurate the HR department is with giving out information about when the UD's will be notifying people, but I did receive an offer. It is truly my dream job and I was starting to get really nervous as each day passed and then I saw the 825 number and got really excited. Just stay positive and hope for the best! Hopefully everyone will get a great RN position.
