Summer hopefuls talk here.... good luck to us all!!! :redbeathe
I just finished my talent plus interview and I felt like a babbling idiot! I'm not going to stress if I get and interview... good, if I don't then God has something better planned for me. Anywayz, anyone who is stressing about your references I called the nurse recruiter and they said only 3 out of the 5 that you gave need to fill out the survey before they can process it. So you don't need all 5!
Thank you so much for this info! 4 out of my 5 references filled out the survey right away, but I've been anxiously waiting for my 5th reference and have been borderline freaking out b/c I can't get in contact with him now. Knowing this helps...thank you!
And for anyone who wants to know. I applied on the first day, within the first hour. I got my email for a TalentPlus interview on the 9th, they called me to set it up on the 16th, and I had the interview on the 18th. I will graduate in May with a BSN, and I am not from CA. My status still says "we have contacted you for an interview" so nothing has changed recently.
Thanks, everyone, for spreading the wealth of information. Good luck!!
Hey guys,Just spoke to the Head of HR Department and told her that I would like to know how the selection process works since so many ppl are saying different things.... and she explained how it works.
They will actually go through each application no matter what... Your will get looked at.
If your application meets their criteria then you get a Talent Plus interview
If not-- you get a rejection email.
If you haven't recieved a rejection email or Talent plus interview... its b/c they didn't look at your application yet.
If you pass your Talent Plus you get an interview.
Just because you didn't apply on the first day does not mean you don't stand a chance... its about how qualified you are!
Good Luck to everyone!
Thanks Avert for sharing this information.
I just had my talent plus interview. The person kept on cutting me off! It only lasted for about half an hour. My person really did sound like a robot lol.But I'm glad its over now. I think I did fine. I hope to hear for an in person interview. I'm new to allnurses and I'm glad to see so many people are encouraging each other during this process. Good luck to everyone!

I have ADN and graduating this June. I applied on the first day around 11am. My last name starts with H.
I just had my TalentPlus interview.I think i did bad. there were 1 or 2 questions that I didnt give examples. The interviewer said they will forward the information (recorded interview) to UCLA within 24-48 hours. I applied to OR and Liver TX ICU. Anyway, just hope for the best. this one makes me really nervous!!!

The rest I felt I was straight up talking out of my a** and they didn't even make sense. omg. well i tried. good luck to you! usually when people think they did bad they actually did better than they thought, right?
