Hey Guys!

Just wanted to start a thread for people who applied to UCLA's new grad nurse residency program! Lets keep each other updated!

My friend just received an invite for an interview with the gen peds unit. I'm assuming rejections/more invites should be coming out for the unit soon! gah

Anyone applying anywhere else? I'm from out of state and although UCLA is my top choice I am aware of how competitive it is and need to start looking at other places too but since I'm not familiar with the area am unsure of which hospitals have residency programs or which hospitals will take new-grads right from the start. Thanks!

USC Keck in Los Angeles, CA will be opening their new grad program as of 1/7/19. Residency Training Program | Nurses of USC

Their pay grade is top tier just like UCLA.

Hi there! I applied for Medical ICU and Cardiothoracic ICU at RR October 3rd. I received an invitation to interview for CT ICU via email on Tuesday, November 20th. My interview is in the morning on Wednesday, December 5th. Good luck to you all :)

I just called HR today and they said most interview invites have been sent out already. My application status is still "online assessment completed" so no rejection yet. Fingers crossed!
