Anyone heard back from any peds positions?

Received an invite via email to interview for their Surgical/ Transplant ICU at RR! There was still a good amount of spots available. Good luck to everyone !

I also received an email invitation today for an interview at RR Transplant/Surgical ICU:)

Hi all, feel free to yell at me to get out of here and research on my own, but I have to ask: what's the point of applying to a new grad residency? To get more educational experience under your belt as you transition into the workforce? Are you all applying to both new grad residencies and hospital/clinic positions?

I also received an invite for PICU

That's awesome! Congrats !

(For FreeShrugs, I'm sorry it wouldn't let me quote your post)

Hi! So new grad residency positions place you directly into the work floor on a unit you're interested in, but with a "preceptor" or someone that will mentor you for a while. For UCLA, the new grad residency is a paid full time job that lasts 1 year long where you take relevant (paid) classes and have 25 RN shifts with an experience RN who will help teach you and refresh anything you may have forgotten. Most new grad RN positions are in hospitals, not so much in clinics :)

Has anyone heard back from Neurotrauma ICU?

Neuro ICU sent their invites today!

I received an invite for the step down unit at Santa Monica. :)

Got my interview invite to Neuro :)

Hello All! Congrats to all of those who have been invited for interviews :) Has anyone heard from the pedi units yet?
