UCLA New Grad Program 2010

Published

Has anyone heard anything back from the UCLA New Grad Summer Program for 2010? I applied in the beginning of February and have only had a phone interview so far, with no feedback yet. Any info or others' experience would be much appreciated, thank you!

For those of you who were hired already, first of all congrats! and secondly, how long did it take to hear back from UCLA?

I interviewed about 2 weeks ago and was extended an offer today. :yeah: I think many of the unit managers have been out on holiday. Does anyone know if we will start together as a group or by unit?

Does anyone know when the new grad program starts?

Hi there! I have an interview for ICU next week. I'm new to this site, but was wondering if anyone who has had an interview with the nurse recruiter and unit managers could help me with a few pointers?! I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

Thank you :)

Has anyone heard from the NICU?

Hi Misslolalady, did you get a call today from the nurse recruiter to schedule an interview?

My unit manager said that the orientation for Santa Monica would start on February 14th. She said this wasn't set in stone. Can anyone confirm this? =) But that's for Santa Monica, RR folks are probably different.

Also, I haven't heard back about setting an appointment to do all the paperwork and the physical/tb tests. Has anyone done this yet?

If anyone's interested in the Peds Residency in Loma Linda University Medical Center, the application opened up yesterday =). I'm not sure how long it will be there though, so apply right away! Loma Linda University Careers Homepage (under "graduate nurse, peds residency" or something similar)

Yes, I have interviews set up next week!

anybody else called for interviews, or had an interview this week with info on units and how many they are hiring?

For the people that have interviewed, did you interview with the nurse coordinator as well? Was it a general interview or was it more of a prep for the unit interviews?
