UCLA New Grad Program 2010

Has anyone heard anything back from the UCLA New Grad Summer Program for 2010? I applied in the beginning of February and have only had a phone interview so far, with no feedback yet. Any info or others' experience would be much appreciated, thank you!

Look through previous posts to be sure, but I think most people had a quick interview with the HR coordinator (mostly completing forms and learning about benefits) and then another with someone on the unit a different day. That was my experience anyway.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I looked through the other posts and people had mentioned that they had interviewed with the recruiter and that it went well, but it really didn't state what the interview was like. That is good info to know, now I can worry a bit less about the recruiter interview.

Hi misslolalady! Do you still have a scheduled interview for the PICU??? Mine got canceled, and HR said they were going to call me about everything tomorrow. I'm just trying to understand what in the world is going on! I don't understand how they can schedule us for interview, and then bail last minuted because my interview was scheduled for tomorrow (Friday Jan 7th). And this happened to someone else I know as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

That's strange. As far as I know, I'm still on (It's next week). I was told to call tomorrow and see if the times set for my interview were indeed good for the mangers still. I will let you know after I find out. Let me know what they tell you too. :)

Well....I called today to confirm. The PICU never responded to the interview request. So, I guess that's probably a bad sign. My NICU interview needs to be rescheduled...so now I have no clue what's going on. I just reserved a hotel too, they told me not to cancel the reservation however... I'm so bummed. :confused:

Interviewed today for the OR with FIVE ladies - wow was that intimidating! Probably won't hear back until February - this wait is going to kill me!!!

Happy to say I interviewed this past week for CT surgery and was offered a position which I accepted today! Congrats to all who have accepted at UCLA, and good luck to those with interviews in the near future!:)
