UCLA MECN Fall 2014?

Hi- Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program for next fall?

Why do you think that?!?!?!?

From threads past - rejections are online, while acceptance and wait lists are via snail mail. The status for those accepted or wait listed does not change on the online portal. We just have to wait for the brave sole to login and see if they are rejected or not.

I am with pmcgrady - this year so many applicants and less seats!!

I logged in today - no change. I have no problem being the brave soul - I just want to know either way already! Geeze. Our applications were in Nov. 1st! :bored:

I checked the online portal also and it said that there were no final decisions yet as it can them from March to April. Hopefully we'll all get the great news, good luck!

im operating under the assumption that it is easier for them to know who they don't want than narrowing it down to who they do want.

Hey everyone! I'm a first year Mecn and you will most likely start finding out this Monday the 3rd (that's how it was last year anyway). If you don't see a rejection letter in your online portal next week, that is usually a good sign that a letter is coming (acceptance or wait list). I received a fellowship last year so I actually got an email about my fellowship before my acceptance letter. Good luck to all!!!

UVAHOO - if you go to the page with the steps to apply for graduate programs - below step 1 is a link for Graduate Application Decision Login. You use the same login and password you used to apply online. There is where it says the app is still being reviewed and that most programs make decisions between March and April. Please keep in mind - this login is for most UCLA Graduate Programs, not just MECN, so it is likely a generic message.

im hopeful that decisions will come out tomorrow and that UCLA mailed out their stuff on friday. will be checking my mailbox tomorrow!
