UCLA MECN Fall 2014?

So to recap....

March 3 (tomorrow) is when we find out online if we get in? Or if you do find out tomorrow, it's most likely rejection as it is online..

So if you don't get an email this week from ucla, that's a good sign? Sorry for the confusion the threads are waayy too long to read haha

Also, is the UCLA son portal the same as ucla graduate portal where we applied?

Yes that is supposed to happen if UCLA is going to follow what they did the past two years. The wait is killing me.

And yes, the UCLA son portal is the same as a the ucla graduate portal.

The only thing that makes me think it could be longer is all recent communication from SON has said March-April. In years past, they have said mid-March. I would not be surprised if it takes another week or two.

I really wish they would at least email us when the decisions have been made - tell us to log in to see our status. The way this has worked in the past is one brave soul has to login, see a rejection and then tell the rest of the forum about it! I do promise that I will let you all know right away if I am the one who gets their rejection first LOL.

Same. I keep checking it every few hours thinking I would see something. Did anyone ask them again when they will notify us/ made their decisions? I would ask but I feel like I've bothered them enough recently haha.

So does anyone else's heart feel like it's going to jump right out of their chest every time they check? Not going to lie, first thing I did when I woke up this morning was log in from my phone and check my decision status. I'm very well aware that we might not find out until mid-March but I just CAN'T. STOP. CHECKING!! :nailbiting:

Hello Everyone, it looks as though we have to keep on waiting for a decision.

I sent an email stating "I was hoping you could tell me if there has been any updates to when the admission decisions will be released for Fall 2014 applicants."

And Received this response, "Not yet, we will post new dates this spring."

That reply does not seem to make sense....I think they read your message for those applying during the 2014 application period. Remember we technically applied in 2013 to start in 2014. You may want to email back and clarify you mean for the folks applying to start the MECN program in Fall 2014.

Hi Guys,

I bumped into one of the student affairs officers and he said we should hear at the end of this month. He said it is later this year because there are only 2 of them processing applications. I thought it would be kind to post since I am sure, like me, you are checking your mail, email, and the Graduate school website for information daily. So, take a deep breath and relax...it will be awhile longer.
