  1. I took mine 8/4...also got the good pop up and waited a week to do it. Still no license posted on the BRN site! í ½í¸
  2. I hope you're right! I did Kaplan and abou a week before my NCLEX I discovered Uworld. I did the demo and felt that it was way better than Kaplan but I didn't want to invest the money since I would only have a week to use it and was already so deep into the Kaplan test prep plan. I did all qbank questions and averaged about 65%, got a 74% on the readiness and 64% on question trainer 7. My NCLEX shut off at 75. I initially thought this was a great sign. I got a lot of SATA. But I still haven't gotten results and I'm reading posts about people who failed with 75 questions so now I'm freaking out.
  3. I'm also a new grad looking for my first job. I graduated with a MSN from a top school, have almost a 4.0, amazing letters of recommendation from clinical faculty, many years of research experience, clinical experiences from a highly ranked teaching hospital, a polished resume approved by my university's career experts, extensive global and community volunteer experiences, and was the recipient of a couple prestigious awards and I have been offered 1 interview since May and didn't get the job. I have been rejected by almost all of the hospitals I have applied to without an offer for an interview! It's still early for me and I'm hopeful but I completely understand your frustration and I'm just telling you my story to let you know you're not alone. I did everything in my power to set myself apart from other candidates. At this point it's in God's hands. Best of luck to you.
  4. Congratulations! For those who left rude or negative comments on your post they obviously need to work on their cultural sensitivity if they are going to be good nurses. You, however, responded with impressive class. I'm sure you are going to make and amazing nurse.
  5. I received my acceptance email this morning. I was #13 for those still waitlisted. Good Luck to all of you!
  6. @peppymint, your comment made me nervous. I kind of expected more people to decline by Friday! I guess I have to sweat it out a bit longer. I know there are people who accepted that only did so to hold their spot so they would have more time to decide, but it still is nerve-wracking!
  7. :-) Congrats!
  8. Let us know when you hear something though please.
  9. Thanks for the info :-)
  10. @crystallll, yes I emailed them. Weird you haven't received an email. Maybe they haven't sent them yet. I'm sure it's coming.
  11. Just an update for us waitlisters...they have taken 10 so far from the alternate list.
  12. @hill3032 yes #13
  13. What number are you?
  14. Last year the accepted #30 on the wait list. This year I think it will be more because of the delay in notifying people so hang in there. Good luck.
