UCLA MECN Fall 2011

Hello,

I saw that the MECN application for UCLA has been posted today. Is anyone applying to the Fall 2011 program?? I haven't found a thread going on yet...Maybe we can share our questions/concerns regarding the application process here.

I am pretty sure they are not doing emails this year. Just snail mail. :(

Yes they told me they weren't doing emails this year... that was in January though and they may change their mind.

I emailed the admissions office yesterday. I got a reply stating that letters are going out in the beginning of March via snail mail. Darn it!!

Thanks for posting lilpeapods. It's weird that they're spending $ on mailing out letters instead of just doing everything electronically. Anyway at least we don't have to wait too much longer

I know it's weird but I'm kinda relieved that they're mailing them this year. At least I wouldn't have to dread checking my email and waiting for nothing. I just got two bad news today and I think I've had enough of receiving bad news via email (or lack of email). Today, I found out that USD emailed notification of acceptance and that CSULA started calling people for interview for March since Feb. 11 or 18th via email and I haven't received anything from either school. It's like no news is BAD news. :scrying:

I found out about both from this forum. I'm starting to think getting updates from AllNurses may have been a horrible idea. lol. Please pray for me, guys. :)

Lol, I agree that AllNurses has been both really helpful but at the same time it has increased my anxiety. Don't lose hope on Cal State LA. I applied there also and I read that a lot of people got interviews a couple weeks ago but I just got invited for an interview like 2 days ago so I don't think they're done reviewing the applications. Either way, good luck and I hope you get in somewhere. :)

Thank you, xluescluesx. :) I hope your interview goes well. When did you turn in your applications (school & university)? I do hope that mine is still being reviewed and that's why I haven't heard anything yet.
