Hi guys,

I reached out to one of the recruiters from UC Davis Health on Linkedin, and she said that all offers made for the August cohort would be made by July 13. Also, she mentioned that all offers for the October cohort must be accepted by August 31. I hope this helps. Good luck to all.

Did you interview also? If so, for what unit?

I did not interview. I'm hoping to get an interview for the October cohort.

Thank you Mia.

I said this some time before about 2 different start dates. Someone on the platform said there isn't anything like that. The priority right now is August cohort before October. There was an option as to when you want to start. Either you choose August as a start date or October. But you have to put down the date. Anyway thank you for your help.

There was confusion about that. There's a question about what date you can start but it has nothing to do with choosing the August or October cohort. It is a general screening question on any job you apply for on the UC Davis site. The cohort you get chosen for is based upon openings in the department(s) that best matches your qualifications.

@Mia DeSoto Thank you, Mia! I saw you on linked in yesterday, I was going to send you a message and say hi but linkedin wouldn't let me haha. So for those of us who haven't gotten a call yet, does it seem like there is still a chance to get a call for the Oct. cohort? This is agonizingggggg.

Yes the cohort is based on the unit availability. But what am emphasizing is the interview that some of us are worried about. My sources say " They want to start sending invite to the August cohort and by the time they accept their offers, they will start interviewing October cohort.

Right?!? A watched pot never boils! We just need to stop obsessing over this. If we get a call, then good for us. If not, then it’s not meant to be. We’ll all get jobs in due time! ?
