Hello everyone!
I did not see a thread for UC Davis MEPN 2020 start so I thought I would start this since applications open up next week ? has anyone written a personal statement? I can't find any specific guidelines for what to include
This dose not says January 15th but see what was emailed by admission to me. It's official - you’ve completed your application for admission at the University of the California, Davis.
We've sent your materials to the admission committee for review. Please note that the program may request further information about components of your application, and some programs may not complete their review of applications until a month following the priority deadline

I don't see a January 15th date on any official email. The closest thing was "Applications received by 11:59 p.m. (PST) on Sunday, December 15, 2019, will be considered for review and admission to the program, with decisions announced no later than January 31, 2020." I think the 15th came from last year and they said should be 4 weeks after the application due date.
@Anthony Ensah In the past Davis has given accepted students ~$10,000 scholarship. No idea what it will be for this new cohort. If you are set on Davis, then find a way to keep the door open for Davis. I would find out when tuition is due for USF to see how long you can wait it out, definitely attend the first few days to get a feel for it just in case. Maybe they are lenient on the first tuition payment (Davis was) or maybe the late fee is small and you can buy yourself more time. If you get into Davis, you can leave USF and they will likely take a student off of their waitlist especially in the first two weeks of the program. Hope that helps, sorry you don't have an answer yet, I understand how stressful that is, crossing my fingers for you all!
@NurseAndi2022 They don't recommend working because the program is truly full time, so a 4 unit class you have 4 hours of class and 8 hour of homework. The first quarter we spent on campus 8-5 monday through friday. However, people find a way to make it work in evenings or weekends. If you have an extremely flexible work schedule you could manage to work 1-2 days a week but you will definitely sacrifice time to study, sleep or care for yourself. I found the first quarter really intense (7 classes) and had no idea how people were working. Some people quit their jobs the first week because of it. After the first quarter I felt better about my time and became a nanny because it's flexible and I can study during parts of it but its only a few hours a week. Let me know if you have any more questions!
Thanks Davis, yeah payment due date was the 2nd,. Just have to pay the amount due when ever I am about to pay which is not a problem I have the funds available just that my mind is not together yet as UC Davis is my top priority. And till Feb 7th Census day you're guaranteed 100% refund. Thanks so much for the info and feedback.

So your documents have been uploaded already by UC Davis? Mine are still pending and I think most are as well.

Hello! Question for you, were you able to work during the program at all. Or do you think you could work one day a week at the least?? Please let me know your thoughts?
