  1. @dmg84 yeah definitely! thank you ?
  2. Congrats everyone, and crossing my fingers for those still waiting to hear, I got an offer for the NICU today. I made a facebook group for the cohort: https://www.facebook.com/groups/448133399760116/
  3. @newnurse_123 one more question sorry, did your status change online at all? ?
  4. @newnurse_123 congrats that's amazing! for Feb or April cohort? May I ask if it was via email or a phone call and from HR or the unit?
  5. I interviewed for the NICU, they said I would hear around Jan 22nd.
  6. I had an interview on Friday and got an email on Monday for a reference check.
  7. If you are interested in multiple units, I would definitely express that in a cover letter, if for some reason the unit you precepted on isn't hiring, you can still get interviews on different units!
  8. @Whitney E Turn everything in with one PDF under the resume section and leave the cover letter upload option blank.
  9. Patient care services is referring to basically every other unit in the hospital, they don't specify every unit hiring, hope that helps :)
  10. yeah definitely, everything but the tuition are estimates for cost of living in sacramento, so deduct things that are not relevant to you!
  11. Those numbers are very accurate ?
  12. We had an online zoom session with the director and incoming students (I'm a current student), join the facebook group UC Davis MEPN Cohort 5 for more information! We will be happy to answer all of your questions.
  13. Class of 2020 is the graduation year (the current cohort that I am in) not the year of entry
  14. They are doing their best to put my cohort online which is an incredible amount of work while trying to start the admissions for the new cohort. Be patient, also even as students we cannot help directly with COVID in any way, leave it to the experts, you can help by educating your community about social distancing and washing their hands and protecting those at risk. I hope they update you soon about your status but please be patient and understand we are all trying to navigate this unprecedented time together ?
  15. @Kp5 I chose Davis because of it's mission statement (leadership, serving underserved populations, etc.) reputation, location, and how I felt when I visited the campus. I visited and applied to USD, UCLA and University of Arizona. I have really enjoyed the program so far, it's a perfect fit for me and my goals! Every school has a different culture and values it's important to chose what resonates with you best.
