Hey guys! I just wanted to start this post for anyone applying for the 2022 cycle for UBC nursing. Just wondering where everyone is coming from and their experiences.

I saw someone explain earlier that the 1's, 2's, 3's, 4's are also group together and compared to each other, which makes a lot of sense. Plus, there are a certain number of seats reserved for indigenous applicants...not sure if there are seats reserved for other types of applicants. This could explain why certain people are higher than others on the waitlist.
If anyone needs help with their supplemental, please feel free to message me. I have a 1 in my supplemental and had a 3 in previous years.
Hi there. This was my second year applying and I didn’t get in again. So this was your third year applying and you got in? Congrats! I would love to take you up on your offer re:supplemental help. I felt like both of mine were well written and I’ve scored a 3 the past two years.

Hi, I would love to take you up on your offer as well! Do you have another platform we can connect on BC I don't think we can DM on this one

It was my third try yes. I went from a 3-1 so not bad and I'm #18 on the waitlist. So not in yet, but crossing my fingers.
You can message me on FB.

AL-14 on the waitlist! I would love to be added to a facebook page if there is one created to chat! Trying to stay hopeful and would love to be kept in the loop until I hear! I will post if I get off the waitlist.
Sorry to anyone that did not get the results that they hoped, remember that everything happens for a reason and you (and maybe we) will get where we want to be eventually!

I just got an email saying I'm 13th on the waitlist so let's hope by September I'll be in
The email I received said we can't know our position on the waitlist, we just find out once we get in or not. Over the next few months when people get in off the waitlist do you mind sharing here so I can sort of keep track of the spots that are being admitted?? Thanks!
Im 14th! If you don't mind messaging me if you get in that would be so amazing!
hi! I applied last year and was put on the waitlist in the 70s with 2 in grades, 2 in supplemental, and 3 in CASPer. this year I applied again and got in! I improved my application by boosting my GPA taking 4 extra courses at Langara and studying for the CASPer using BEMO and ended up getting 4th quartile. I also had experience working as a COVID vaccinator and worked as a medical office assistant. excited to meet you all!!

(see my recent post above explaining ^^) If not, I am worried I don't have a chance at BCIT. Also how did you find the Snapshot interview process? Is there an opportunity to explain more about your experiences/skills etc, in that interview? The BCIT application form is very short compared to the UBC one, it seems there isn't much opportunity to showcase why you think you'd be a good student and eventually nurse. Thanks for any advice ?
Hi, can you give me your contact so I can privately msg you? I can't seem to privately msg on allnurses.

From what I've seen, we're not expected to have the CPR-BLS and N95 fitting done yet. In one of the letters it said that more info about those are coming later. So I think that for the June 7th it's just transcripts. As for the criminal check, there are specific codes in the letter that are needed, so my guess, is when you're accepted off the waitlist then you'll get all that info and have a different due date!
Hopefully that helps ?
