  1. Looks like last year #20 was accepted on June 11th....but a lot of people got accepted in the first week of July. There's still hope ? (I'm AL-18)
  2. It was my third try yes. I went from a 3-1 so not bad and I'm #18 on the waitlist. So not in yet, but crossing my fingers. You can message me on FB. https://www.facebook.com/yahjeh
  3. I would check out VCC, Langara, and BCIT. If you don't have a degree yet, it might be a better option to do a full 4 year program.
  4. I feel for all the people who didn't get in or are in high waitlist numbers. This is my third year applying and the first year I applied, I cried when I didn't get in. It's a huge let down. I saw someone explain earlier that the 1's, 2's, 3's, 4's are also group together and compared to each other, which makes a lot of sense. Plus, there are a certain number of seats reserved for indigenous applicants...not sure if there are seats reserved for other types of applicants. This could explain why certain people are higher than others on the waitlist. If anyone needs help with their supplemental, please feel free to message me. I have a 1 in my supplemental and had a 3 in previous years.
  5. Someone said 34
  6. I'm also curious about the pathophysiology, but maybe it's included in the program. Side note: If I got in out East, I would totally go there. Living costs in BC are crazy.
  7. I made the waitlist AL-18....does anyone know how many people on the waitlist got in last year?
  8. 100%, it's very frustrating that they can give us deadlines for everything but won't give us a specific date so that we can plan our lives.
  9. Probably be around 3-4pm because they mail merge the emails out and most UBC employees head out around 4 on Friday. I'm so excited and nervous and just want to know either way. Did anyone get in anywhere else or is UBC your first and only choice? I got in a VCC and I will jump ship if UBC accepts me.
  10. Yes, haha and I was waiting. My application was not very strong in previous years. The suspense is killing me, I wish they would set a date.
  11. Hi all, I applied in 2019 and it was May 2 (Thursday) and then in 2021 it was a Friday when people got accepted and denials went out the following week.
  12. Yes, I'd love a group as well!
  13. That's what I did. I got accepted to VCC for their BSN program, so I paid the deposit and if UBC comes back with a yes I'll jump ship! Forfeit the deposit.
  14. I have Bach of Arts in Psych and about a 3.61 GPA, Casper in the 3rd quartile, and lots of volunteer with VASS and VGH (I think this was omitted), and 85 or something on the math assessment. I received the email first and then check my status and it was changed. It was the only day I didn't log in to check.
  15. Hi yes thank you!! So I have about a Bach of Arts in Psych, 3.61 GPA, Casper 50th and 74th percentile range (3rd quartile), years of volunteer with VGH and VASS (but they waived this), and I think 85 or something on the math assessment.
