  1. UBC 2022 Nursing

Looks like last year #20 was accepted on June 11th....but a lot of people got accepted in the first week of July. There's still hope 😩 (I'm AL-18)
  2. UBC 2022 Nursing

It was my third try yes. I went from a 3-1 so not bad and I'm #18 on the waitlist. So not in yet, but crossing my fingers. You can message me on FB. https://www.facebook.com/yahjeh

I would check out VCC, Langara, and BCIT. If you don't have a degree yet, it might be a better option to do a full 4 year program.
  4. UBC 2022 Nursing

I feel for all the people who didn't get in or are in high waitlist numbers. This is my third year applying and the first year I applied, I cried when I didn't get in. It's a huge let down. I saw someone explain earlier that the 1's, 2's, 3's, 4's ...

    Someone said 34

I'm also curious about the pathophysiology, but maybe it's included in the program. Side note: If I got in out East, I would totally go there. Living costs in BC are crazy.
  7. UBC 2022 Nursing

I made the waitlist AL-18....does anyone know how many people on the waitlist got in last year?
  8. UBC 2022 Nursing

100%, it's very frustrating that they can give us deadlines for everything but won't give us a specific date so that we can plan our lives.
  9. UBC 2022 Nursing

Probably be around 3-4pm because they mail merge the emails out and most UBC employees head out around 4 on Friday. I'm so excited and nervous and just want to know either way. Did anyone get in anywhere else or is UBC your first and only choice...
  10. UBC 2022 Nursing

Yes, haha and I was waiting. My application was not very strong in previous years. The suspense is killing me, I wish they would set a date.
  11. UBC 2022 Nursing

Hi all, I applied in 2019 and it was May 2 (Thursday) and then in 2021 it was a Friday when people got accepted and denials went out the following week.
  12. VCC FALL 2022

Yes, I'd love a group as well!
  13. UBC 2022 Nursing

That's what I did. I got accepted to VCC for their BSN program, so I paid the deposit and if UBC comes back with a yes I'll jump ship! Forfeit the deposit.
  14. VCC FALL 2022

I have Bach of Arts in Psych and about a 3.61 GPA, Casper in the 3rd quartile, and lots of volunteer with VASS and VGH (I think this was omitted), and 85 or something on the math assessment. I received the email first and then check my status...
  15. VCC Winter 2023

Hi yes thank you!! So I have about a Bach of Arts in Psych, 3.61 GPA, Casper 50th and 74th percentile range (3rd quartile), years of volunteer with VGH and VASS (but they waived this), and I think 85 or something on the math assessment.
  16. VCC Winter 2023

I just was reading this forum, I applied to the BScN program 1st year entry and I just received my acceptance today! So it's gotta be much earlier for you all.
  17. VCC FALL 2022

I just got my acceptance!! 🙂 Anyone else?
  18. VCC FALL 2022

I guess that's sooner than June. I log in every day to check 🤣
  19. VCC FALL 2022

Oh my gosh that would be amazing. Yes, I was confused by the June thing because I thought I read somewhere or I had it in my mind that it was end of March as well!
  20. BCIT Nursing Sept 2022

Good luck! Hope we find out soon.
  21. VCC FALL 2022

Hi all, I've also applied - 3.6ish GPA, lots of volunteer experience with the hospital and VASS and I have a degree in psych. I don't know how the CASPer went. June seems quite late for acceptance. So hard to wait that long!!
  22. BCIT Nursing Sept 2022

Hello, I've applied to the Sept intake as well. I have a psych degree as well and a few years volunteering at VGH and with VASS. Not sure exactly what my GPA is. Have you applied anywhere else? I also applied to VCC and UBC.
  23. UBC 2021

Hey all, congrats to everyone who got in this cohort! I'm wondering if anyone would like to share their stats or background with me. I'm trying to strengthen my application for next year and I wanted to get an idea of the competition. An obvious...
  24. VCC Fall 2021

I think I sent mine to the admissions email address. You can also email it to one of the advisors. The CASPer results are sent to VCC in June. My stuff took a bit to update, I had to email everything in.
  25. UBC 2021

Oh okay, there's still hope! I applied with a Bachelor's in Psych and around a 3.5 GPA depending on what courses they went off of, to be honest I haven't looked at my transcript in years. I've worked and organized the OSCEs for the dept of medic...
