U Penn Second Degree ABSN 2017

Hi Everyone! I have not seen a thread started for the UPenn ABSN 2017 cycle yet! I wanted to start one and see if anyone else out there wants to chat about it! Very excited to hear back this month!

I submitted my app on 10/14/16 and once all my LORs were submitted 10/28/16, I received an email my application was complete and under manage my account, it states my app is ready for review!

How long is the ABSN-MSN?? I can't find a schedule on the website?

@raellger hey! I crashed and burned too! My interview was brutal, not at all like my ones at other schools! I feel you pain let me know how you do

Have any of those who applied for just the ABSN program (not ABSN-MSN) heard from them yet?

Hi @Sylfaen,

Just an ABSNer here. Still haven't heard a peep about interviews - I'm starting to get nervous! Hopefully this means they haven't reached out to us yet, but could just be that I'm not what they're looking for.

Let me know if you hear anything! Same goes for all the other ABSNers. :)

I ended up getting "demoted" from BSN/MSN consideration, but was interviewed late November

Haven't heard anything at all. I just sent my fall transcripts, so I'm telling myself that Penn was waiting to see my final grades before contacting me...

For those who have been interviewed, under "manage your account" section-> "view checklist" -> "application status", does it say "Ready for Review"? I wonder if the status changes once the application has been under review or if it stays "ready for review" throughout the app process.

Hey, my application said "ready for review" after my interview until I was accepted! :)

I would think the same would apply for BSN/MSN applicants. (Im an accepted MSN only applicant)

Hey breadnroses! Have you heard anything yet for an interview? I applied for the BSN/MSN Family NP track and got an interview but still haven't gotten an interview date.... just wondering if other people are in the same boat and that they haven't forgotten about me...

Hi jmroh, so when I asked at the end of December, FC said that she would be in touch around January 10th with additional Interview dates. So hopefully we'll hear something tomorrow.

Yeah, I hope to hear something soon too. I've heard nothing about an interview as of now. I feel tempted to call them about this, but I know it's up to them to choose to interview us and review our application.
